Kuala Lumpur - The Admiralty Court on 6th August 2018 issued a warrant of arrest against the superyacht, Equanimity. Application of arrest was by four plaintiffs, 1MDB Group of Companies, 1MDB & subsidiaries. The reason for arrest was because 1MDB group claimed ownership on Equanimity. The group believed that their money has been misappropriated and was used to purchase the vessel. Equanimity was placed on custody of the port.
